Couldn’t launch Maya via Microsoft Remote Desktop for mac
This issue occurs when connecting from mac via RDP.
Prerequisites is here:
- From
- macOS v11.4
- Microsoft Remote Desktop v10.6.7 (1896)
- To
- Windows 10 v20H2
- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080
Without RDP:
The figure below is the DirectX diagnostic tool that displayed by the dxdiag command. It doesn’t use RDP.
With RDP:
The figure below is the DirectX diagnostic tool that displayed by the dxdiag command with logged-in via RDP.
In this case, GeForce RTX 2080 not found in DirectX Diagnostic Tool.
